2024 Impact Report Showcases a Year of Innovation and Voter Engagement

Democracy Works released its 2024 Impact Report, showcasing the organization's contributions to enhancing voter participation and election integrity. The report highlights 2024 achievements, including:

  • Collaborations with Major Platforms: Partnered with TikTok to power its 2024 Election Center, providing accurate election information to over 150 million U.S.-based users. 
  • Innovations in AI Integration: Teamed up with Anthropic and Perplexity to provide voters with verified election guidance through AI-powered tools that deliver accurate, up-to-date election information from trusted sources.
  • Recognition for Technological Excellence: Received the 2024 API Award for Best Data API, acknowledging the Democracy Works Elections API's role in providing comprehensive election data. ​
  • Rapid Response Voter Engagement: Provided real-time election updates and emergency voting information to voters affected by hurricanes, legal challenges, and last-minute polling place changes, ensuring they could cast their ballots despite disruptions.

"Since our founding, Democracy Works has evolved to meet voters where they are, providing timely and accurate election information through the platforms they trust," said Luis Lozada, CEO of Democracy Works. "In 2024, we built on that foundation by expanding our partnerships and strengthening our tools to ensure that every voter had the resources they needed to cast their ballot."

The report also outlines the organization's strategic priorities for 2025, including expanding access to voting resources, enhancing security measures, and deepening engagement with election officials and civic partners.
