Two of TurboVote’s former campus implementers have been named Truman Scholars. Katherine Hamilton of Middlebury College and Jacob Miller of University of Massachusetts Dartmouth were selected from more than 600 applicants and 200 finalists to receive the prestigious Truman Scholarship, which honors former President Harry Truman.
The Harry S. Truman Scholarship Foundation supports the graduate education and professional development of outstanding young people committed to public service leadership. Katherine and Jacob are both active on their respective campuses in a variety of ways, but we are particularly grateful for the time and effort they have dedicated to helping their classmates get more involved in elections and voting.
Becoming a TurboVote campus implementer is a great way for students to take leadership and engage their peers and the community. If you or someone you know is interested in helping TurboVote fully succeed on your campus, contact us today at firstname.lastname@example.org.
